Barry is the President of Green Valley Hospitality, a small restaurant group in Northeastern Connecticut.

Green Valley Hospitality Restaurant Group (GVH) was formed to be the fiscal management and marketing company that oversees his four restaurants in Northeastern Connecticut. They are The Vanilla Bean Café in Pomfret, 85 Main in Putnam, Dog Lane Café in Storrs, and Fenton River Grill in Mansfield. Each restaurant has been designed and maintained to be a unique dining experience.

GVH focuses on effective management, proper accounting procedures, and standard practices for each of his establishments, ensuring that the restaurants are supported and fiscally viable, allowing them to thrive and grow in Northeastern Connecticut.

At each of the restaurants the employees, managers, and owners strive to create unique dining experiences that are filled with positive energy and vitality; to keep our concepts fresh and exciting; to maintain high standards for our quality of food and the quality of our managers and employees; and to always provide our customers with a place of hospitality.

Award Winning Restaurants

GVH restaurants have won numerous awards, and all have worked to attract, educate, and train all our employees to maintain our standards of quality, in all aspects of the business. Each restaurant works to create an environment where our employees feel safe and supported. Each restaurant also works to give back to the communities that help support them. Through these practices we create restaurants that are sustainable, enduring, and fun.

“Barry [has] created a restaurant group that has attracted a leadership team of top-notch people who focus on quality in food, preparation, employees, management, environment, fiscal responsibility and the overall offer of hospitality.”
